Dried sugary flakes be gone!

BREAKFAST: Breakfast can be a difficult meal to navigate for those people who are used to the refined and commercial versions of cereals, porridges, pastries and toast options. These kind of options are typically high in refined carbohydrates, sugars and ‘empty’ calories . They contain poor quality trans fats and usually high in salt due to the processing and shelf life. None of these are healthy for you and especially not at the start of your day. In these breakfasts there are no quality proteins, healthy fats, fruits and vegetables. Your body is looking for nutritious fuel for the day ahead. For me anything goes as long as its nourishing. A superfood packed avocado smoothie, spinach and watercress omelette or chia seed buckwheat porridge with fruit.
